Az Enablin+ projekt a Leonardo Life-long program része, az Európai Bizottság Life-Long Learning Program (1/1/2014–31/12/2016). Contract 541981-LLP1-2013-1-BE-LEONARDO-LMP Project ENABLIN+ “Enabling and Including Young People with Complex and Intense Support Needs” keretében. A kutatás célja az, hogy a komplex és állandó támogatást igénylő gyermekek és fiatalok (0–21 év közöttiek) szociális inklúzióját és ellátását elősegítse, valamint a gyermekeknek és fiataloknak a szüleit, családtagjait és gondozóit megfelelő – szakmai és pszichés – támogatásban részesítse.
A projekt célja továbbá egy inter- és pluridiszciplináris szakmai tréning kidolgozása, ahol a különböző szakemberek és szülők együtt tanulhatnak, azzal a közös céllal, hogy a komplex és intenzív ellátást igénylő gyermekek életminőségét javítsák. Az Enablin+ projekt számos, helyben alkalmazható modult dolgoz ki az inklúzió, kommunikáció, magatartás, aktiváció és tanulás, mindennapi élet javítására. A célok elérése érdekében a projektben résztvevő szakemberek többlépcsős ütemtervben dolgoznak, melynek első lépésében szükségletek elemzésére került sor a résztvevő tagállamokban. A második lépésben a jó gyakorlatok kerültek feltérképezésre, amit követett a tulajdonképpeni – on-line és valós időben zajló – tréningek kidolgozása. Az ötödik lépcsőben kerül sor a trénerek oktatására és a kutatás eredményeinek a bemutatására.
Ennek a projektnek a keretében vizsgáljuk a hazai speciális nevelési igényű (továbbiakban SNI) személyek helyzetét és az ellátásukat biztosító intézményhálózatot. Arra keresünk választ, hogy a romániai jogrend és ellátási rendszer hogyan válaszol ezekre a nagyon specifikus igényekre, valamint hogyan valósul meg a valóságban az integráció és az inklúzió.
